FAQs
WHAT KINDS OF COOKIES DO YOU SELL?
I specialize in old favorites and nostalgic, fun flavors. See them all here or follow my Instagram page for regular updates.
do you offer online ordering and shipping?
Not right now. As you can imagine, shipping cookies is expensive, so I’m taking a break right now to focus on in-person sales and finding new opportunities to get my cookies out into the world. I may be back for some special holiday offers, but in the meantime, if you really, really need some of my cookies, send me a message and I’m happy to discuss options.
CAN I VISIT ELECTRIC OVEN BAKESHOP IN PERSON?
Not exactly. Electric Oven Bakeshop is run from my home kitchen and I do not have a permanent retail location. That said, I do have a presence at the South Portland Farmers’ Market each Sunday, from 10AM-2PM, and at the Local Goods Market at Fork Food Lab from 4 -7PM every Thursday. I also make appearances at other markets and events. Follow me on social media to find out where I am!
do you do special orders?
I’m not a caterer, but I can do large(ish) orders! If you’re in need of a bunch of giant cookies, send me a message through the Contact form and I’ll be in touch.
HOW BIG ARE THE COOKIES AND BARS?
Big. Each round cookie is approximately four-and-a-half inches across and brownies and blondies are about four inches square. Cookies and bars weigh around 4 oz each.
The cookies are homemade and the bars are cut by hand. While I work hard to be consistent, some difference in size is possible.
CAN I FREEZE THESE COOKIES FOR LATER?
Cookies can be stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about a week. If well wrapped, they can be frozen for up to three months. You may see some blooming, or cloudiness, on chocolates or ganaches, but that won’t affect the taste.
DO THESE COOKIES CONTAIN ALLERGENS?
Yes. Most of the cookies here contain some combination of wheat, milk, egg, soy, and nuts. Allergens are listed on each cookie order page and on the labels.
These cookies are produced in a home kitchen that processes wheat, milk, egg, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, and occasionally shellfish and fish.
